U-Cup Seal Spacer For Hydraulic Intensifiers

Description

This spacer is a precision machined stainless steel ring that sits immediately behind the polyurethane U-cup in the Husky rod pack. Its controlled axial height compresses the seal lips to the ideal preload, preventing lip roll over and extrusion at the pump’s full 40,000 psi operating pressure, while the polished faces minimize friction against the carrier and seal heel. By keeping the U-cup perfectly centered on the ceramic plunger, the spacer stops bypass leakage, protects the dynamic seal ahead of it and helps maintain a clean oil-to-water interface for longer run times.
