8-Inch In-Tank Fuel Filter With 2-Inch Npt Thread

Description

Stainless 100 mesh screen element threaded with a 2″ NPT male base to screw directly into the clean/dirty (CLS) tank lid or standpipe. The 8″ length gives extra surface area, keeping inlet restriction low while trapping gasket chips, rust scale and stray garnet before they reach the low pressure checks.

Use with:

• Filter Head 5″ (A‑6059 housing used on shorter elements; stock as a spare if you downsize)
• Prefilter Bag CLS Tank (A‑22736‑1 catches large debris upstream to extend element life)
• Breather Vent 3/8″ NPT, 10 µm (A‑2854‑1 keeps the tank under slight vacuum so fines stay on the screen)
• Screen Filter 100 mesh, 3.3″ (A‑3582 short element for shallow tanks or secondary polishing stage)

Maintenance Tip: Log inlet vacuum or flow before and after cleaning. When differential rises quickly between shifts, replace the A‑2122 to protect against cavitation and premature check‑valve wear.
